Experience
To provide you with some more information about me, I was born and raised in Scranton, PA, graduated from Scranton Preparatory School, where I earned 3 gold medals in mathematics for ranking #1 in my individual class (Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years). From that point, I proceeded to major in Bioengineering at Syracuse University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree. I also minored in Mathematics and Nutrition/Food Science. After graduating from college, I taught in a private high school, which was one of the most rewarding jobs that I ever had, due to the fact that I was able to make an impact on the lives of the students that I taught and see them achieve their goals. While teaching, I decided to further my education and earn my Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) (GPA 3.97), while also taking up some graduate coursework in International Food Laws and Regulations at Michigan State University (GPA 4.0). Currently, I work in Senior Management for a company in Upstate New York, in addition to tutoring a number of students. Selecting me to work with you or your child would be a step in the right direction. I would be committed, I am very flexible, and would go out of my way for any student that I am working with to ensure that they get to where they want to go.

Hobbies
In my biography, I noted that I taught Mathematics in a private high school. What puts me a cut above is that while I have the knowledge and command of virtually all Mathematics subjects and other subjects that I tutor students in, I focus on the individual needs of every student that I work with. The reality is that all people learn in different ways. When working with students, I seek to explain information in a way that each individual student understands. Once that connection is made, student achievement tends to be greater. This is the advantage of working with a student one-on-one. Many teachers are simply teaching to a broad range in the classroom, but not paying individual attention to students who may need it. I seek to close that gap by explaining concepts in ways that they are more easily understandable to maximize student achievement. In closing, I would like to thank you for viewing my tutoring profile. To recap; I have approximately 20 years of experience tutoring and teaching in the classroom. Seeing a student succeed is what is rewarding to me. When tutoring, I do not consider myself successful unless the student is successful. If you select me to work with you, I will ensure that I will provide you with excellent service. I will be committed to your success and help you achieve your goals (or your child’s goals – if you are a parent reading this).
