Experience
After earning my bachelor's degree at Boston College and my master's degree at Georgetown University, I began working with high school students on preparation for standardized exams like the SAT. I enjoy being a tutor and educator because it helps me improve my own understanding of the subjects at hand. As a standardized test tutor, I create mnemonics, relevant figures, and exciting examples of test problems for students to solve. I work to earn my students' respect, and I remain as accessible to them as possible. At least half of my students improve their SAT scores by 200 points or more. I can also tutor students in Algebra, Biology, Chemistry, Geometry, Life Sciences, and Physical Science, in addition to helping them prepare for the SAT, ACT, and MCAT. I know the importance of study habits when it comes to preparing for tough classes and standardized tests, so I help students with study skills so they can confidently prepare for any test in the future. I foster a healthy learning environment for my students, and enjoy finding ways to engage them in their coursework. When I'm not educating the next generation, I enjoy photography. I also love soccer.
