PhD Candidate in Cultural and Environmental Anthropology at the University of Milan, Italy; MA in Cultural Anthropology at the "Ca' Foscari" University of Venice, Italy; BA in Linguistic Mediation with a Major in Spanish and a Minor in Portuguese at the University of Perugia, Italy; 1Year Erasmus Project in Coimbra, Portugal; 3 Year Ethnographic research in sustainable communities; 3 months Ethnographic research in Bolivia.
Experience
I come from Italy and now I live in Syracuse with my husband who works at the University. I taught Italian, Spanish and Portuguese privately many times, everytime with a different approach according to the student. I also gave private tutoring to elementary school kids. I studied many languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese) in many different ways so I know what a student wants and needs to know in approaching a different language. Also, since I have been studying Anthropology for many years, I am very attentive to the cultural aspects.
